Gary Melamed is the firm’s lead attorney in the Trusts & Estates area, and brings his extensive experience to helping our clients. This is central to Grimaldi & Yeung. Gary provides targeted legal advice to our clients in carefully administering their estate planning needs. He supervises the drafting of Wills, different types of Trusts, deeds, tax filings and other legal documents. He facilitates the transfer of assets and conducts negotiations, dispute resolutions and settlements. Gary also handles various court proceedings relating to the administration of Trusts, Estates and Guardianships.
Gary is skilled in counseling individuals and effectively finds solutions for both modest income families and clients with high net-worth, including CEOs, chairpersons and senior management executives of Fortune 500 Companies.
Gary’s focus includes all aspects of Wills, Trusts, estate administration, tax, business law, real estate and elder law. Gary also participates in the planning and formations of Limited Liability Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Family Limited Partnerships and other forms of ownership.
Gary frequently volunteers in his community. Previously, he participated in the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) where he counseled and prepared income tax returns for low and moderate income individuals. Gary often lectures on various topics in estate planning.
Clients rely on Gary to handle a wide range of complex details associated with their elder law and trusts and estates planning needs.
In addition to English, Gary is fluent in Russian. Gary enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their two young children.
