Growing up in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, Nicole learned to interact easily with a variety of people of different cultures. She realized the power of community as a young girl; her apartment building caught fire and all the neighbors pulled together to help each other. That was how she learned to be of service.

In 1994, Nicole began working with the homebound elderly as a social worker for Catholic Charities. Since then, she has had experience working with older adults, persons with disabilities and the under-served. Nicole has worked with clients in hospitals, home care settings and nursing homes. Nicole brings this extensive experience to her position of care coordinator at Grimaldi & Yeung LLP. In this role, she is able to help our clients navigate through the various agencies and systems to receive the benefits they need, and can do in-home, hospital and nursing home visits to coordinate care.

Prior to joining Grimaldi & Yeung, Nicole was a Medicaid Coordinator at St. Elizabeth Ann’s HC & RC, a nonprofit nursing home, and other local nursing facilities and hospitals.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys crafting and scrapbooking. She is also a passionate organizer of just about anything, from a single drawer to an entire office. This attention to detail serves Grimaldi & Yeung’s clients well as they cope with the health care system’s complex rules and the stress of caregiving.
